My name is Vinny, I grew up in New York, earning a B.S. and M.S. at SUNY Albany. I taught for a year in the metal detecting, lock throwing, hormone filled, inner city schools of upstate New York, before packing up and moving to Morocco. After two years of teaching Biology in Casablanca, Morocco at George Washington Academy I am back stateside down south in sunny Boca Raton, Florida.
I love Shenanigans, and have found a great balance between the serious, and not so serious part of my life.
In terms of language, I have a deep, twisted, comical love/hate relationship. The stubborn science teacher that is understands how important language is, both inside and outside of the classroom.
***Thanks to anyone who listened to the request below, for nostalgia, the request will remain on the blog for as long as I have one***
If you happen to see my mom Doreen while I am living abroad, you must give her a hug or a shot… preferably tequila.
